Customer Advisory - Export containers arriving via King Fahad Causeway

Dear Valued Customers,

Further to our customer advisory Ref: APMT/COM/018/2023 dated 26th September 2023, we would request respective transport companies to follow below requirements.

1. Containers are to be secured by twist lock instead of using chain. Trucks arriving without twist lock will not be allowed to enter the Terminal.
2. Effective from Saturday 7th October 2023 gate will be opened till 23:59 between Saturday to Thursday and on Friday till 16:00 hours for two weeks as a trail. If there is no significant container movement from KSA during this period, will be forced to restrict gate closure at 22:00 hours. Please note that the container movement between 22:00 till 23:59 strictly for receiving export containers arriving from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Last container should be gated-in by 23:30 hours.
3. Shipping agents are requested to adhere to the procedures mentioned in our previous customer advisory Ref APMT/COM/018/2023 of 26th September 2023.
